Bring your item

Give your home decor a second life

Bring selected H&M Home items you no longer use to the store.
They will be carefully sorted, cleaned and reintroduced into the circular design system.

Eligible items

You can return selected home decor products in good condition.

  • Vases
  • Lamps
  • Textiles (cushions, throws, covers)
  • Decorative objects (frames, trays, candle holders)

Items should be clean and safe for handling.

Give it a second life

Some pieces still have more to give.
Instead of being stored away or thrown out, they can be rediscovered and appreciated again.

With Second Life, we give home decor a new purpose, extending its journey and reducing waste.

From one home to another, every piece finds its place again.

Voucher incentive

As a thank you for giving your items a second life, you will receive a 15% H&M Home voucher.

Each accepted item grants one voucher, regardless of its condition.
Vouchers can be used on your next in-store purchase.

To ensure fairness, a maximum of two vouchers can be issued per visit. Valid on full-price items only.

Contribution to circular design

Returned items are carefully processed to extend their life cycle.
They may be:

  • cleaned and restored
  • reused in new interior collections
  • repurposed into new decorative objects

This helps reduce waste and supports circular design in home decor.

Selection

Each item is carefully reviewed by our team.
We check the condition, materials and potential for reuse.
Products that meet our quality standards move to the next stage of the circular process.
Items that cannot be reused may be repurposed or responsibly recycled.

Condition assessment

Each product is inspected to evaluate its overall condition. Items should be safe, functional and suitable for a second life.

Each item is professionally cleaned and carefully prepared for its next life.
We ensure it is safe, fresh and ready for a new home.

Sorting for the next stage

After evaluation, items are sorted into different pathways:
  • direct reuse in the Second Life collection

  • restoration or cleaning

  • repurposing into new decorative objects

  • responsible recycling when reuse is not possible
