Second Life Pop-Up Experience

To introduce the circular concept to the public, H&M Home launches a temporary Second Life Pop-Up space in London.
Visitors can bring unused home decor objects, discover restoration techniques and explore how everyday objects can gain a second life.
The pop-up space combines collection, creativity and circular shopping.

1 May — Opening Day
Launch of the Second Life pop-up and start of the collection days.

10:00 – Opening of the Second Life Pop-Up

Introduction to the circular design concept and the Second Life program.

11:00 – Start of Collection Days

Visitors can bring unused home decor items:

  • vases
  • lamps
  • candle holders
  • small furniture
    decorative objects

Each item goes through a quick selection and quality check.Participants receive a 5€ H&M Home voucher for every accepted object.

16:00 – Talk: Why Circular Design Matters

Short presentation about sustainable consumption and extending the life of objects.

2 May — Collection & Inspiration
 Visitors bring home decor items and discover circular design ideas.

10:00 – Collection Days continue

Visitors bring objects and receive vouchers.

13:00 – Interior Styling Session

Designers demonstrate how to combine vintage objects with modern interiors.

15:00 – Photo Installation Opens

Visitors can take photos in the installation:

Restored items are displayed and available for purchase.

Collected and restored objects are displayed.

Final day of the pop-up and presentation of the project results.
