Second Life is a new initiative by H&M Home, designed to extend the life of home decor items and make sustainable living more accessible.
We believe that beautiful objects deserve more than one life.
Second Life was created to reduce waste, encourage conscious consumption, and give home decor a new purpose.
By reintroducing pre-loved items into our stores, we aim to make sustainability simple, stylish, and accessible for everyone.
Second Life is a curated collection of pre-owned H&M Home items, carefully selected, checked, and prepared for a new home.
Customers can bring their decor items to participating stores, where they are evaluated and, if accepted, integrated into the Second Life collection.

The Second Life initiative is first launching in selected H&M Home stores across the United Kingdom.
This pilot phase allows us to test, improve, and adapt the concept before expanding to other countries.
Second Life is an extension of H&M Home’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
By combining design, accessibility, and responsibility, we continue to explore new ways to rethink how home decor is created, used, and reused.
From collection to recycling, each step is handled by experienced partners.
Second Life is supported by a network of trusted partners across Europe and the UK, specializing in collection, sorting, cleaning and recycling.
Inspired by existing H&M collaborations with organizations such as I:CO, SOEX, REMONDIS, TEXAID and TRAID, ensuring responsible handling and high quality standards at every step.
